Making a Purchase

Credit card transactions are provided via PayPal® and Rat Paradise thus holds no knowledge or record of your credit card number and any use of the PayPal® service is then bound to the service agreement and privacy policies supplied therein (see https://www.paypal.com).

Member Registration
If you choose to become a registered member of Rat Paradise, you must provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, a unique login name, password, and password validation. This information is collected on the registration form for several reasons including: (i) personal identification; (ii) to complete orders; (iii) to allow us to contact you for customer service purposes, if necessary; and (iv) maintain an order history. In addition, we need your e-mail address to confirm your new member registration and each order you transact on our site. As a Rat Paradise member you will also occasionally receive updates from us about sales, special offers, new Rat Paradise products and services, and other noteworthy items. Member Profile
As a Rat Paradise member, you can choose to complete your online profile by providing us a billing address and by maintaining an address book of shipping addresses. This information is used to assist you in placing orders quickly without having to type in the same information repeatedly. For example, you can store a gift recipient's address in your address book so that when your place an order for that individual, we can automatically populate the shipping information fields for you.

Newsletters
Rat Paradise's newsletters are an optional benefit you may choose to subscribe to that keep you up to date with the latest deals and product additions. Your e-mail address is necessary to receive RatMart e-mails.

Online Surveys
Rat Paradise values opinions and comments from members, so we may conduct online surveys. Participation in these surveys is entirely optional. Typically, the information is aggregated and used to make improvements to Rat Paradise and to develop appealing content, features and promotions for members. Survey participants are anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey.

Promotions & Sweepstakes
Rat Paradise frequently sponsors promotions and sweepstakes to give members the opportunity to win prizes. Information collected by us for such activities include contact information. We use contact information to notify contest winners.

Automatic Logging of Session Data
We automatically log generic information about your computer's connection to the Internet, which we call "session data", that is anonymous and not linked to any personal information.
